Old personal coverage inquiries links, new destinations
What a income protection advice practice in Frederick changed on its website, and what that did for the office.
From the old way in to the new one
Where it started
The existing personal coverage inquiries pages had collected links over the years from staff emails, printed material and external listings. A redesign was about to change several addresses.
What got in the way
Day to day with personal coverage inquiries, a rebuild without a redirect plan would quietly break years of shared links. The business had no map of what pointed where.
What we built
Every old address was cataloged and paired with an appropriate new page, tested before go-live. The rebuilt reference pages present the agency's review process and carrier contact routes with labels consistent with the reorganized site.
What it was made of

- 04Missing-page checks

On the plan

Book a demoWhat changed
For personal coverage inquiries, old links resolve to sensible destinations instead of error pages. The work preserves access; no claim is made about search positions.
The old personal coverage inquiries link is in years of our correspondence. Seeing exactly where it would land mattered more to me than the new color scheme.
Questions about this case
How long did this work take for the income protection advice practice?
20 working days after content approval, including staff review and handover. The clock starts once the agency has approved the content, so the time it takes to agree the wording is not counted against the build.
Which plan carries this kind of work?
Everything this case used sits on the Single Line plan and up: managed cloudflare hosting with nothing itemized and a page for every line you write. Single Line is $127/ month, and the one-time build fee is invoiced only after the site is live and approved.
Does an inquiry sent through the site count as a quote or a booking?
No. An inquiry is a request to talk. It is not a quote, an application, a booking or a binder, and nothing is in force until a licensed producer and a carrier bind it. GetInsuranceWebsite is not an insurance agency, broker, carrier or licensed producer, and the site never quotes coverage, rates or eligibility.
Why is the client not named?
Case studies on this site describe each client by type, size and region rather than by business name. The quote is attributed to the named staff member who gave it: Elias Hargrave, quotes coordinator.
