Our commitment
GetInsuranceWebsite wants everyone to be able to read this site, compare the plans and get in touch, whether they use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or a small phone. When something gets in the way, we want to hear about it and fix it.
The standard we build to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is a target we design and test against, not a certification. No third-party audit has been carried out on this site.
What we do on this site
- One main heading per page and headings in a logical order, so the page can be navigated by heading.
- Every form field has a visible label.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Text and controls are checked for contrast in both the light and the dark theme.
- Animations are reduced or switched off for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- Pages reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling, and buttons are sized for touch.
Known limitations
Some content is provided by third parties, such as the booking calendar, the chat widget and payment pages. We choose providers with accessibility in mind but do not control their code. If one of them blocks you, email us and we will help you book, ask or pay another way.
Sites we build for agencies
Every agency site we build is made to the same standard and ships with its own accessibility statement. That helps agencies meet their obligations under the ADA and state law, but it is not legal advice and not a guarantee of compliance. When a client or a visitor reports a problem on a site we manage, we fix it as a revision.
Report a problem
Email with the page address and what went wrong. A person replies within one working day, and we tell you what we changed.
