GoHighLevel funnels or a managed agency website: which does an insurance agency need?

For most insurance agencies the answer is both, doing different jobs. A HighLevel funnel is built to move one audience through one offer, such as a Medicare seminar sign-up or a renewal re-quote campaign. A managed agency website is the permanent home for every line you write, every town you serve and every carrier you represent, built to be found in search and to start quotes all year. The funnel borrows attention; the website earns it.

01

What a funnel is good at for an agency

A funnel is good at one job: taking traffic you already bought or already own, such as an ad, an email or a mailer, through a short sequence to a single action. For an agency that might be an annual enrollment seminar, a life insurance lead magnet or a commercial auto renewal push. Funnel pages are usually short and focused on purpose, and HighLevel ties them straight into its CRM, pipelines and automations. If your marketing is campaign by campaign, funnels earn their keep.

02

Why a funnel is not a replacement for the agency website

A funnel is not built to rank for "homeowners insurance in" your county, to explain twelve lines of business, or to carry a claims and billing directory your clients come back to. Search engines reward a site with a clear structure of pages that answer real questions, internal links between them and structured data that says who the agency is. That is the website's job. Pointing a paid campaign at a funnel is fine; relying on a funnel to be found by the shopper who never saw your ad leaves a steady source of unpaid quote requests untouched.

03

How the two fit together

The cleanest setup keeps each tool on its own job. Your website carries the line pages, town pages, carrier pages and a quote form per line, and it sends every request into HighLevel if HighLevel is your CRM, tagged by line and page. Your funnels keep running campaigns from HighLevel on a subdomain or separate path. The website links to a funnel when a campaign is live, and the funnel links back to the line page for anyone who wants to read more. One CRM, two tools, no duplicate contacts.

Which is right for your agency?

An honest split. If the left column describes you, HighLevel funnels is the better call.

HighLevel funnels is the better fit when

  • You run paid campaigns for one line at a time and need fast landing pages inside HighLevel.
  • You want seminar sign-ups, lead magnets or re-quote campaigns tied straight to HighLevel automations.
  • You already have a website that ranks and only need campaign pages.

A managed GetInsurance site wins when

  • You want to be found for each line in each town you serve, not only by people who clicked an ad.
  • You need a quote form per line and a claims and billing directory clients return to.
  • You would rather nobody at the agency builds or maintains pages.

What the plan includes

What you get beyond the pages themselves

Speed, search, AI answers, upkeep, and on Multi-Line and Agency Book the AI Engine and Content Engine. Every item, with the plan that carries it.

  • Single Line $127 / month
  • Multi-Line $267 / month + usage
  • Agency Book $647 / month

Speed, search and AI answers

  • 90+ PageSpeed on every page we build

Static pages served from Cloudflare's edge with almost no script. If a page we control drops below 90+, we fix it at no charge.

  • Technical and on-page SEO

Clean URLs, one clear heading per page, unique titles and descriptions, internal links between line, town and carrier pages, an XML sitemap and correct redirects.

  • Structured data (JSON-LD) on every page

The agency as an organization or local business, each line as a service, each FAQ as a question and answer, breadcrumbs, and each article with its author.

  • Answer-first pages and FAQ blocks (AEO)

Every section opens with a direct answer, and line and town pages carry real questions with full answers, marked up so they can be lifted into featured snippets and voice answers.

  • Ready to be cited by AI assistants (GEO)

An llms.txt file, consistent agency and service names everywhere, dated pages and plainly stated facts, so assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can understand and cite the site. No one can guarantee a mention; we make it more likely.

  • Researched articles every week

2 a week on Single Line and Multi-Line, 3 a week on Agency Book, each 2,500 to 3,200 words, with cited sources, written as general information.

The AI Engine

  • AI receptionist that answers when your team cannot

Answers the agency line when nobody is free, takes the caller's name, the line and the details a producer needs, answers plain questions about hours and lines, and books a callback. After each call you get a call-analysis PDF with a summary of who called and what they wanted.

  • AI chat widget on your website

A chat window on every page that asks the same questions as the matching quote form, in conversation, and writes the answers into your CRM or AMS.

  • AI agents on SMS, Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs

The same agent replies to texts, Messenger and Instagram messages, takes quote details and books a call with a producer, with every transcript kept on the contact record.

  • A2P 10DLC texting registration filed for you

We file the carrier registration every business needs to send texts through an application, using the agency's legal name and EIN, and pass the carrier fee through at cost.

  • Agents configured never to quote or advise

The agents never quote coverage, state a rate, say who qualifies or recommend what to buy. Anything that would be advice goes to a licensed producer, and every conversation is logged.

  • AI usage billed at cost, with a cap if you want one

Phone minutes and messages are billed monthly in arrears at cost, broken out on the invoice, and we can set a cap so the agents stop before it is passed.

The Content Engine

  • 3 social image posts a week

Posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in your colors, each linking to the article or quote form it was made for.

  • 2 short reels a week

Short, captioned reels written to be read with the sound off, drawn from the same topic list as the articles.

  • Your Google Business Profile, managed

Weekly posts, photo updates, hours and holiday changes, service lists that match your line pages, answers to questions, and review replies drafted for your approval.

  • 3 researched articles a week instead of 2

The article count steps up so a bigger book, or a commercial book with more lines, has the content to rank.

What agency owners say after switching

  • If you only look at the design you miss the best bit, which is the inquiry form. It asks for coverage interest, renewal month and contact preference before anything is sent, which is the information we used to chase by email. It has quietly removed the slowest step in our intake.
Nitin BhattBranch manager, regional personal insurance brokerAlbuquerque, NM · Inquiry form and response workflow for personal coverage inquiries
  • A lot of our personal coverage inquiries interest arrives after we close; the site finally accepts that. Evening visitors leave structured information and an honest response time, nothing more promised. Mornings start with a proper queue rather than voicemail archaeology.

Questions about HighLevel funnels and a managed agency website

Can I keep my GoHighLevel funnels if you build my agency website?

Yes. The website and your funnels do different jobs, and nothing about our build removes or replaces a funnel. Funnels keep running from your HighLevel account, usually on a subdomain, and the website links to whichever campaign is live. Many agencies run both for exactly that reason.

Will quote requests from the website go into HighLevel?

Yes, if HighLevel is your CRM. We connect each quote form to your HighLevel location, map the fields to your custom fields, and tag each request with the line of business and the page it came from, so your pipelines and automations treat it like any other lead.

Why not just build more funnel pages for every line?

Because a funnel page is designed to convert traffic you send it, not to be found. Ranking for a line in a town takes a site structure: line pages, town pages, internal links, structured data and regular content. You can bend funnels toward that, but it is slow work and not what the tool is for.

Does a funnel load as fast as your pages?

It depends on the funnel. A lean funnel page can be fast; one with video, several scripts and tracking pixels often is not. Our pages are static and built for a 90+ PageSpeed score, and we fix any page we control that drops below it.

Which is better for Google Ads landing pages?

Either can work. What matters for Quality Score is a landing page that is relevant to the ad and useful to the person who clicks. Many agencies point line-specific ads at the matching line page on the website, and use funnels for time-limited offers.

Do you sell or manage GoHighLevel too?

The website is our product and it works with HighLevel as your CRM. If you need help with HighLevel itself, ask on the demo call and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot take on.

What does the website cost next to my HighLevel subscription?

Our plans start at $127 a month with a $697 build fee invoiced after launch. Your HighLevel subscription is separate and unchanged.

Is GetInsuranceWebsite part of HighLevel?

No. We are an independent website company. HighLevel is a separate company and a trademark of its owner; we simply connect to it when agencies use it.

HighLevel and GoHighLevel are trademarks of their owner. GetInsuranceWebsite is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by HighLevel. Comparisons describe each option in general terms as of September 2026; check the provider's own site for current features and pricing.
